Our Robinson DNA:R1b1a2a1a1b4---Tut DNA: R1b1a2: King Tut's DNA Found in Western Europe

My cousin in South Africa reported about a dna test done on the Pharaoh Tut in Egypt:

In the October 2011 edition of SHEMU, the magazine published by THE EGYPTIAN SOCIETY OF SOUTH AFRICA (TESSA)

(as I have told you I have been a member of this Society since it was founded in 1997), an article titled

"KING TUT'S DNA FOUND IN WESTERN EUROPE". It is most thrilling to read what it states :-

"More than 50% of Western European men share a common ancestor with the Egyptian pharaoh TUTANKHAMUN, geneticists in Switzerland announed recently.

Scientists at Zurich's DNA genealogy centre IGENEA reconstructed the DNA profile of Tutankhaamun, his father;  Y-DNA profile of Tutankhamun

from IGENEA page:

DYS# 393 390 19 391 385a 385b 439 389-1

Allele  13   24 8/14 11   11       14    10    13

DYS# 392 389-2 458 437 448 GATA H4 456 438

Allele 13     30      16 9/14  19       10          15   12

AKHENATEN (who married NEFERTITI) and his grandfather AMENHOTEP III (who married TYE).

The results showed that they belonged to a genetic profile group known as haplogroup R1b1a2.

More than 50% of all men in Western Europe belong to the same group as the three pharaohs.

In Britain and Spain it is as high as 70%.

Interestingly, among modern Egyptians this haplogroup contingent is below one percent." (in my opinion this could be the

result of the onslaught of the Arab invasion which started from about 639 AD and has never ceased since then)

According to the Director of the IGENEA CENTRE ROMAN C SCHOLZ, here's the crunch line :

"THE GENETIC GROUP'S COMMON ANCESTOR LIVED IN THE CAUCASUS ABOUT 9,500 YEARS AGO".

The IGENEA CENTRE has now launched a DNA testing project to search for what they call "the closest living relative of

TUTANKHAMUN'S MALE LINEAGE IN EUROPE".

Test kits are sold online.

You can follow this report in Reuters, http://www.igenea.com/

I see that we are not quite a match being our #393 allele starts with a 12 and not a 13.
